what it does

  • say its namesay "crouton" and ask. it answers right in your chat.
  • clip that"clip that" in the app, or ctrl+alt+c: a twitch clip, and your obs replay saved while its buffer runs. ctrl+alt+m marks the moment.
  • knows when you’re onit only listens while you're live, and never while your mic's muted in obs.

set up in three steps

questions

does it slow my game down?
it hears you on your graphics card: 400 to 800 mb of its memory, and well under 5% of it through a whole night on an rtx 5070. the app shows its share live. it only uses your processor if you turn that on. overlays like steam's and obs's stay out of it, and your game keeps them.
does it work without obs?
yes. without obs it listens whenever you're live, and you mute it with ctrl+alt+n. with obs 28 or newer it follows your mic's mute there too, and "clip that" saves your replay buffer while it runs.
how do i mute it?
press ctrl+alt+n, or mute your mic in obs. it never listens while you're offline either.
how does it update?
on its own, at a quiet moment: never while you're live or it's listening. it waits until you've been away from your keyboard and mouse for ten minutes, the app's only just started, or you press update now. each update is checked before it installs.
