how do the free streams work?
your first three streams run with everything on, and no card. a stream counts once crouton's been on it for 10 minutes, and two on one night count as one. after the third, crouton waits for you to subscribe, and it keeps everything it remembered.
which plan is mine?
Starter is for channels averaging under 25 viewers, and speaks as crouton's own bot, CroutonChats. Plus is for any channel, and can use a bot account of your own. you choose at checkout. crouton checks your average at each renewal, and if a Starter channel grows past 25, your plan page tells you a renewal ahead.
what's the founding price?
the first 100 channels to subscribe pay $12 a month on Starter or $20 on Plus, for as long as they keep their plan. it's monthly only. a founder who outgrows Starter moves to $20, not $30, and cancelling ends it.
when do Growth and Pro open?
once their parts work on a real channel. put your twitch name on either list and you'll be first in when it opens. nobody's charged for being on it.
is there a limit?
crouton writes every line itself, and each month it has a budget for that: $10 on Starter, $20 on Plus, counted from your billing day. it never costs you more than your plan. past three quarters of it, crouton writes up every other stream instead of every one; at it, welcomes and raids get plain lines and the rest stays quiet until the month turns. most channels never get near.
what counts as a channel?
one twitch channel. crouton for a second channel is a second subscription, until Pro brings up to three under one.
is tax on top?
where it applies, yes. checkout works it out from where you are and shows it before you pay.
who takes the payment?
stripe does, as the seller, through link. your receipt says "Sold through Link", and your card statement shows LINK.COM* CROUTON.
how do i cancel?
from your dashboard: account, then manage billing. it keeps running until the end of the month, or the year, you paid for.
the details are in the terms and the refund policy.
